1 injured in crash


Sheriff Joseph M Underwood Jr. reports that on 4-10-14 at 1530 hrs his office was called to a crash in Pokagon Township on Sink Rd and Peavine St. 60 yr old Eau Claire resident, Joyce Brewer, was west bound on Peavine St when another vehicle failed to yield at the stop sign on Sink Rd and collided with her. Ms. Brewer and her passengers, (Elepha and Xavier Karn) were treated and released at the scene. The other driver, 48 yr old Dowagiac resident, Anthony Foerster, was transported to Borgess Lee Hospital in Dowagiac for treatment. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor and seat belts were used. This case remains under investigation.
