On Saturday, March 29, 2014 at approximately 2:50pm, a group of at least eight females entered a retail store known for selling sunglasses. Each of the female suspects is believed to be between the ages of 18 and 25 years-old. The store is located on the 24200 block of Town Center Drive, Santa Clarita.
A witness inside the store reported that the group of eight females entered the location and immediately gathered around the display cases. The women quickly began stuffing numerous pairs of sunglasses into their bags. As the witness ran to dial 911, the females ran out the door, down Town Center Drive, and out of view. Another witness reported seeing the women get into a dark colored SUV before fleeing the area. The suspects are estimated to have stolen well over $20,000 worth of merchandise from the location.
Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station detectives immediately began following leads and have now released surveillance video taken from inside the location in hopes of identifying any of these individuals involved in this incident.
If you recognize any of the females or have any further information that can assist detectives in this investigation, please contact Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Detective Burrow at 661-255-1121 or at [email protected]
If you would like to remain anonymous, please call the LA Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
