La Mesa - Natural Gas Line Break 
Heartland Fire & Rescue crews are on the scene of a natural gas line break at 8800 Grossmont Blvd. Construction crews were working in the area and caused the line to rupture. Fire crews quickly secured the break and stopped the leak. The Toys R Us store at 8790 Grossmont Blvd. was evacuated briefly but has since reopened.
