On 4-9-14, at 7:44 AM, officers were sent to the intersection of San Jacinto and Western on a collision involving a motor vehicle and a pedestrian. Officers found that a WF juvenile was crossing Western when she was stuck by a red 2004 Saturn that was southbound on Western. The juvenile was conscious and able to speak to people at the scene, and was transported to the hospital for minor injuries. The male driver of the vehicle was issued a citation for failure to grant right of way to a pedestrian in the crosswalk.
