Canyon Country West: Zone 7 Update - Public Safety and Crime Prevention Information

Crime Prevention Unit
This past week in Zone 7, the following Part-1 Crimes occurred:
A residential burglary occurred near the 18700 block of Bainbury Street. The suspect made entry through a unlocked sliding door. The suspect stole the victims toaster, microwave, and wireless router. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Station Detectives.
A commercial burglary occurred near the 26800 block of Sierra Highway. The dead bolt was pried off the front door. The suspect(s) made entry, however nothing was taken from within. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Station Detectives.
A commercial burglary occurred near the 18600 block of Via Princessa. The victims purse was stolen from a locker while working out. The suspect bought goods and services using the victims stolen credit cards that were inside her purse. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Station Detectives.
A petty theft occurred near the 18700 block of Via Princessa. Two suspects stole cooking oil from behind the location. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Station Detectives.
A grand theft occurred near the 26400 block of Sierra Highway. An employee of the location was arrested for stealing $40,000 in U.S. Currency from the locations safe. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Station Detectives.
