Full Notification

The State of New Jersey requires that, each year, a Water Utility provide to each of its customers a "Consumer Confidence Report" (CCR) that gives the customer information on water quality.  The report for each year must be made available no later than June 30th of the following year.

Prior to last year, a hard copy of this report was mailed to each customer.  Starting last year, the report may be provided electronically on the utility's website.  The Hawthorne Water Utility CCR may be found at:

A notice of this availability will be included on the second quarter water bill.  As a cost-saving measure, no hard copy of the report will be mailed this year, except upon request.

By means of this Nixle message, the Borough is providing a supplemental notice, along with a copy of the CCR, to our registered Nixle users.
