Upcoming Road Closure 
We have been advised by Donna Whitney, District Railroad Coordinator with the Florida Department of Transportation, that SR 45 (Main Street) will be closed at the railroad crossing beginning April 14, 2014 at 9:00 am and will be reopened to traffic by April 18, 2014 at 6:00 pm. This will allow the railroad’s contractor to remove the inactive track from the roadway, repave, remove railroad signals and replace the necessary sidewalk at this location. They are still in the process of finalizing the detour plan at this time.
