INVESTIGATION REVEALS METH LAB IN WEST JACKSON
On 04-04-14, Investigators from the Jackson-Madison County Metro Narcotics Unit went to 118 Hatton Street in west Jackson to follow-up on a complaint of possible Methamphetamine manufacturing at that location which is the home of Jerry Wall.
Wall allowed the officers to search the residence which revealed an active “shake and bake” meth lab along with additional precursors, reagents and equipment used to manufacture methamphetamine. Additionally, the officers found small amounts of finished methamphetamine in two locations and an unlabeled pill bottle containing 12-Hydrocodone pills and the prescription medication Risperidone.
The lab components were dismantled and processed and a Response Truck from the Tennessee Methamphetamine and Pharmaceutical Task Force was called to the scene to package and remove the hazardous wastes and lab equipment.
Jerry Lee Wall, age 70, of 118 Hatton Street in Jackson was charged with Initiation of Methamphetamine Manufacture, Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Sell or Distribute, Possession of a Schedule III Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell or Distribute and Possession of a Legend Drug. He was arraigned in Madison County General Sessions Court and is currently being held at the Madison County Criminal Justice Complex in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
