Matthew McMahan, of Marion, accused of taking indecent liberties with a 9-year-old girl 
Detective Billie Brown of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Matthew Charles McMahan, 30, of Diamond Cove Road in Marion, with two felony counts of taking indecent liberties with a child.
Brown said the victim is a 9-year-old female acquaintance with whom McMahan allegedly had inappropriate sexual contact. The incidents reportedly occurred twice in 2013.
