Road Closure Alert: W. Clinton Ave is closed from Melrose Ave to S. Prospect Ave.-Westbound ONLY. Please use alternate routes.
This roadway is closed due to a PSEG high tension wire fire. The wire laid on the roadway and burned causing damage to the travel lane. For safety reasons and to avoid damage to vehicles, the west bound lane will be closed until the roadway is repaired. The Traffic Bureau is aware of the situation and will coordinate with PSEG and the DPW to have the roadway repaired as soon as possible.
