The Huntley Police Department has taken a report of a child being asked by an unknown male subject if she wanted a ride. The incident took place near a school bus stop in the area of Berkshire Lane and Fairfield Road. The incident occurred on Friday, April 4 at approximately 4:00 PM. The male subject was reported to be tall, having white hair, and driving a grey van with no license plates. The child, upon being approached by the subject, ran and was not harmed. No further information was able to be provided at the time.

UPDATE: New information was obtained and the driver and the child have been identified. The two are family members and the driver was going to pick up the child, but the child opted to run home instead.
