Stabbing Leaves Three in Critical Condition

Modesto, CA – Detectives are investigating an early morning stabbing of three young, female victims.

At about 1:06 this morning, officers were called to a residence in the 2600 block of E. Orangeburg Avenue to investigate the report of a stabbing with multiple victims. When they arrived, they found two 13-year-olds and an 11-year-old in a bedroom, each suffering from stab wounds. They were taken to nearby hospitals where two are listed in critical condition and one is listed in serious, but stable, condition.

The preliminary investigation indicates that one of the 13-year-olds stabbed the other two victims and herself. The circumstances behind the stabbing are still under investigation.
