Three Arrested for Methamphetamine in White County
On April 3, 2014 at approximately 1:00 a.m, troopers from the Indiana State Police at Lafayette with assistance from the White County Sheriff’s Department and Monticello Police Department arrested three individuals on several Methamphetamine charges for allegedly manufacturing and dealing.
Troopers Jerrad Foutch and Tyler Bentlage, White County Deputies Brandon McClelland and Josh Shoemaker and Monticello Police Officers Chris Blake and Tyler Cosgrave went to 3098 East Division Road near Monticello, IN to check on alleged criminal activity at the residence. Upon further investigation, substances that were believed to be meth and ingredients to manufacture meth were allegedly found at the residence. Arrested at the residence were:
Crystal D. Upchurch-Speed, 41 years old from Monticello – Manufacturing/Dealing in Meth 35-48-1-1.1 a Class B Felony. Maintaining a Common Nuisance 35-48-4-13(a) a Class D Felony
Eric Bottoms, 43 years old from Monticello- Manufacturing of Meth 35-48-1-1.1 a Class B Felony, Visiting a Common Nuisance 35-48-4-13(b)
Theodore S. Ryan, 46 years old from Monticello- Manufacturing of Meth 35-48-1-1.1 a Class B Felony, Visiting a Common Nuisance 35-48-4-13(b)
All three were booked into the White County Jail. Trooper Weslee Ennis of the Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Team was called to disassemble the labs. The investigation is continuing.
