The first incident occurred on February 27, 2014, during the early morning hours when a lone male adult entered Thrifty Wash, 2203 Torrance Blvd, defeated the locks that secured the three vending machines inside and removed an unknown amount of US Currency from the machines.
The second incident occurred on March 3, 2014, during the early morning hours when what appears to be the same suspect entered Yukon Coin Laundry, 3568 Redondo Beach Blvd, and pried open the office door. The lone suspect entered the office, removed an unknown amount of US Currency from the cash register and fled the location.
The suspect in both crimes is described as a White or Hispanic male adult, 20-30 years of age and last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, a dark-colored baseball hat and caring a dark-colored computer-type bag with a shoulder strap. A possible vehicle seen and connected to the commercial burglaries is a black or dark-colored Hyundai or Daewoo sedan.
