I-96 Closure 
The Livonia Police Traffic Bureau would like to remind all motorists that the long awaited closure of the I-96 Freeway between Newburgh and Telegraph will begin this Saturday, April 5th at 7:00 AM.
Beginning today, MDOT as begun to close one lane on the I-96 Service Drive that will remain closed throughout the construction project.
We are urging all motorist to begin planning their alternate routes now and give yourself extra time to make it to your destinations safely.
