On Tuesday evening (4-1-14), deputies with the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle on Doggett Road for speeding.
As officers were conducting the traffic stop, they could smell what they determined to be marijuana coming from the vehicle.
Officers conducted a search of the vehicle and located 53 grams of marijuana.
Arkeyne Deshawn Cureton, 28 year old B/M, who gave an address of Lovelace, was arrested and charged with (1) count PWIMSD Marijuana and (1) count Possess Drug Paraphernalia.
Cureton was transported to the Rutherford County Detention Facility and was later released after posting an $8,000.00 secured bond.
