On March 25th, the Green Bay Police Department conducted a escort license sting/prostitution sting that resulted in the arrest of eight females on municipal charges of Operating without a Escort License, and/or drug possession. The specifics of the sting won’t be release so as to not compromise the integrity of future operations. These females were contacted and met with undercover officers to engage in sexual acts in exchange for money. They were charged in municipal court to hold them accountable while also ensuring a timely prosecution and disposition.

These operations are important because of the inherent health and public safety concerns caused by this behavior. The illicit sex trade historically has connections to human trafficking, drug dealing, sexual assault, and robberies. The victims are not only those involved in all aspects of this lifestyle but their families and the community. We will continue to have these types of operations.
