On 3/29/14, at approximately 02:00AM, the Sheboygan Police Department responded to Walgreens, 1029 N. 14 Street in Sheboygan in reference to a report of a strong-arm robbery. A 48-year-old female was approached by a male party who subsequently pushed her against her vehicle and took her purse before fleeing the scene eastbound through the parking lot.

The suspect described as a male white, approximately 6 feet tall with a pale complexion and dark rings under his eyes. The suspect was further described as wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black T-shirt, blue jeans and tennis shoes with the Air Jordan logo on the heel.

On 3/31/14, at approximately 5:55 PM the Sheboygan Police Department responded to a report of a second strong-arm robbery at the Aurora Superior Pharmacy, 509 Superior Ave. A 50 year old woman was approached by a male party who knocked her to the ground and took her purse, again fleeing on foot. The woman received a laceration to her head and was transported to an area hospital for treatment and released.

The suspect is further described as a male white, wearing a dark jacket, blue jeans and black work boot style shoes. His face was concealed with a ski mask only revealing the area around his eyes and nose. The investigation related to both cases is ongoing.

As a result of these two incidents, Sheboygan Police Department is asking anyone with information related to either incident to contact the Sheboygan Police Department. We are also asking citizens to take additional precautions when visiting a pharmacy. Park in a well lit area close to the door, and if possible, don’t go alone. Women should carry their purses tight to their body and where a shoulder strap.
