MAIN IMPACTS
• Small Debris Flows near Recent Burn Areas - Heavy downpours may develop along a cold front Monday night, then again Tuesday night when unstable air moves over southwest CA. Recent burn areas in Ventura and Los Angeles Counties may experience debris flows during short, intense rainfall. The main burn areas of concern include the Powerhouse, Colby, Madison, and the Williams Fires.
• Slick mountain highways - Snow levels will fall Monday night to 4500 feet and remain low through Wednesday. Accumulating snowfall could occur along Interstate 5 over the Grapevine and roads in the Angeles National Forest during this period creating travel delays or brief closures.

SYNOPSIS
Several storm systems will move across the area tonight through Wednesday. The main system will be Monday night, followed by a short break, then another system Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. There is the potential for heavy downpours along the front Monday night across Ventura and Los Angeles Counties, then again in heavy showers Tuesday night into Wednesday. Snow could also accumulate at times across the Grapevine on I-5 from Monday night into Wednesday.

Rainfall totals: Monday night-Wednesday will range from 0.25-0.75” with up to 1.5” for south-facing foothills and mountains. Amounts could be heavier depending on the storm track and intensity of showers.
