11350(a) HS—Possession of heroin
1203.2(a) PC—Violation of probation


Location: 500 block of Murray Drive


Summary: Petaluma Police responded to the 500 block of Murray Drive to investigate a report of a possible vehicle burglary in progress. When the first responding officer arrived on scene, Knapp walked from the front of one house to the driveway of another, where he began acting suspiciously near a pick-up truck parked there. Knapp was detained, and PPD K-9 Officer Art Farinha searched the area around the pick-up truck with his partner “Jimmy”. “Jimmy” found syringes and a little over one gram of heroin sitting on a tire of the pick-up truck. Knapp was arrested and booked at Sonoma County Jail.
