National Weather Service issues a Flood Watch for Bergen County through Sunday evening (March 30, 2014)
Steady rain will begin Saturday (March 29, 2014) afternoon and continue through Sunday (March 30, 2014). Rain will be heavy at times Saturday night into Sunday morning. Total rainfall amounts are predicted to be 2 - 3" with locally higher amounts of 4" possible.
Flash flooding of roadways, small streams, and low lying areas with poor drainage is possible.
Fair Lawn Emergency Management will continue to monitor this situation and issue updates as necessary.
