The Gibson County Sheriff's Office wants to notify citizens of a new scam entering the area. 
March 24, 2014 – The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office wishes to alert you to a new scam entering the area. On March 19th a resident of rural Gibson County received a letter from an organization by the name of P.I.A. This organization is supposedly located out of Aurora, Illinois and is asking for assistance in locating Genen Garrison and Kelly Shriver. P.I.A. indicates in their letter that these individuals are wanted through Dupage County, Illinois.
The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office has reached out to the Aurora Police Department in Dupage County Illinois and they have no knowledge of these two “wanted” individuals. Further the Aurora Police Department has had no contact with the P.I.A. organization.
The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office requests that citizens use caution when receiving a letter of this nature.
