Patoka man arrested on Child Molestation Warrant. 
On March 21, 2014, Ryan Matthew Nieves age 30 of Patoka was arrested in Vanderburgh
County by the US Marshal Task Force on a Child Molestation warrant out of Gibson County.
Mr. Nieves was the suspect in an investigation led by Captain Deborah Borchelt where three
victims under the age of 14 came forward reporting the inappropriate actions of Mr. Nieves. At
the conclusion of Captain Borchelt’s investigation a warrant was issued for 9 A Felonies and one
C Felony. Mr. Nieves remains in the custody of the Gibson County Jail on a $250,000 surety
bond.
