On March 22, 2014, at 12:54 p.m. Deputy U.B. Smith observed a Red 2008 Chevy passenger vehicle traveling on US 41 at a high rate of speed. During a roadside investigation it was determined that the driver Demario A. Wright age 25 of Evansville was driving a vehicle while his license were suspended on prior charges. Deputy U.B. Smith took Mr. Wright into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail. Mr. Wright was charged with Driving While Suspended Prior and has since posted a $650 bond.
