Go to Lunch, Tip-A-Cop and Raise Money for Special Olympics this Tuesday at Holdren's in Goleta!
On Tuesday, March 25, the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office will kick off the first Tip-A-Cop Luncheon of the 2014 season. For the fifth year in a row, Holdren’s Steaks and Seafood in Goleta located at the Camino Real Marketplace, will host this event to raise money for Santa Barbara County Special Olympics. Volunteer waiters and waitresses from the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office, Santa Barbara County District Attorney’s Office, California Highway Patrol and UCSB Police Department will serve lunch to the public and work to earn tips.
ALL TIPS received as well as the sales from our special edition “Santa Barbara County 2014 Tip-A-Cop T-shirt” and Special Olympics Southern California T-shirt will benefit the Santa Barbara County Chapter of Special Olympics. Last year the Tip-A-Cop events and the Law Enforcement Torch Run events raised almost one hundred thousand dollars for our local chapter.
