Haubstadt man arrested for DUI after Tuesday evening traffic stop. 
On March 18, 2014, at 11 p.m. Deputy Daniel Greer observed a Red 1998 Dodge Neon traveling Southbound on US 41 at a high rate of speed. Upon stopping the vehicle at US 41 and State Road 68 Deputy Greer noticed that the driver appeared to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. Deputy Greer identified the driver as 21 year old Rodney Van Broshears Jr. of Haubstadt. During a roadside investigation Mr. Broshears was administered several Standard Field Sobriety Tests and a portable breath tests. Upon the completion of those tests he was transported to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated. He remains in custody on a $650 bond.
