On Monday March 17, 2014, at 6 p.m. Deputy U.B. Smith observed a Maroon 1998 Ford passenger car fail to move over for an emergency vehicle. Deputy Smith was able to stop the vehicle in the area of Walnut Street on US 41. Upon approaching the vehicle the driver was identified as Robert O. Harrison age 35 of Evansville. During a roadside investigation Deputy Smith learned that Mr. Harrison was operating his vehicle while his driving privileges were suspended. Mr. Harrison was taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Driving While Suspended Prior. He remains in custody on a $ 650 bond.
