On 3/16/14 at 1635 hours, a WCPD officer noticed a vehicle driving erratically on Sunnyvale Av. A check of the license plate revealed the vehicle was recently stolen out of Concord. Officers responded to assist but the suspect accelerated in an attempt to evade arrest. The short pursuit came to an end in a small one-way parking lot at the south end of Buena Vista Rd when the suspect rammed a patrol car head on then intentionally backed into another patrol car. The juvenile driver, and solo occupant, was taken into custody. Major damage was done to the suspect vehicle and one patrol car but no one sustained any injuries. Officers determined the juvenile was under the influence of a controlled substance and was in possession of a controlled substance. The suspect was booked into juvenile hall on the above listed charges.
