On March 12th, 2014, the North Brunswick Police Department Anti-Crime Unit, in conjunction with the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office, executed a search warrant within the Township leading to an arrest.
Troy Smith, a 33 year old Township resident has been arrested and charged with several crimes, including drug distribution and distribution within 500 feet of a public park. Police seized illegal drugs, paraphernalia, and a sum of illegally obtained cash during the search.
Smith is being held at the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Facility in North Brunswick pending bail and Court.
