On March 12, 2014 at 7:26 p.m., Deputy U.B. Smith observed a White 1998 Buick passenger car traveling northbound on US 41 near county road 100 north make an unsafe lane change. Deputy Smith initiated a traffic stop and the driver was identified as Radames Alvarez-Rivera age 38 of Vincennes Indiana. During a roadside investigation Deputy Smith discovered that Mr. Alvarez-Rivera was operating a vehicle without ever receiving an operator’s license. Deputy Smith took Mr. Alvarez-Rivera into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail. Radames Alvarez-Rivera remains in custody on a $450 bond.

Mr. Alvarez-Rivera is charged with Operating without ever receiving a license. He was also issued a citations for speeding and failure to signal a lane change.
