Deputies looking for women who set car ablaze in Montford Cove; cash reward offered
Authorities need help identifying two women they believe set a car on fire last month.
The two suspects were caught on surveillance video at a rest home in Hendersonville.
Detective Jason Grindstaff of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office said the car, a Kia Sportage, had been stolen from Hendersonville and was located burned and destroyed on Wednesday, Feb. 26 on Wild Ridge Acres in Montford Cove.
Anyone with information about the crime or suspects is asked to call Detective Jason Grindstaff at 652-2237 or McDowell County Crimestoppers at 65-CRIME (652-7463). With Crimestoppers, your identity remains anonymous, and you could receive a cash reward.
