Press Release 3-9-14

On 2/27/2014 the WTPD arrested a male, age 29 of Doylestown PA, for simple assault. The male was involved in a physical dispute on Rt. 57 in Washington NJ; he was processed and released upon posting $500 bail.

On 2/28/2014 the WTPD arrested a male, age 35 of Washington NJ. The male was arrested for an outstanding $50.00 warrant, he was processed and released.

On 2/28/2014 the WTPD arrested a male, age 52 of Danielsville, PA. The male was arrested for shop lifting at the Shop Rite on Rt. 31 in Washington NJ. He was processed and released pending his court date.

On 2/28/2014 the WTPD arrested a female, age 45 of Glen Gardner NJ. The female was arrested for shoplifting over $100 worth of merchandise from the Shop Rite on Rt. 31 in Washington NJ. She was released pending her court date.

On 2/28/2014 the WTPD arrested a male, age 38 of Oxford NJ. The male was arrested after he was stopped on Rt. 31 in Washington for a motor vehicle violation. He was charged with: Driving Under the Influence of alcohol, unsafe lane change and careless driving. He was released pending his court date.

On 3/1/2014 the WTPD arrested a male, age 38 of Oxford NJ. The male was arrested for creating a nuisance by letting his cow’s escape their pen and walk in the road. He was processed at the scene and released.

On 3/1/2014 the WTPD arrested a female, age 34 of Oxford Twp NJ. The female was arrested for creating a nuisance for letting cow’s escape and walk on the road. She was also charged with disorderly conduct at the scene. She was processed and released pending her court date.

On 3/1/2014 the WTPD arrested a male, age 27 of Washington NJ. The male was arrested for an outstanding warrant for $250.00 out of Hackettstown NJ. He was processed and turned over to the Hackettstown PD.

On 3/1/2014 the WTPD arrested a male, age 36 of Newark NJ. The male was stopped on Broad Street in Washington. He was arrested for 2 counts of possession of CDS (cocaine and oxycodone) and 1 count of possession with intent to distribute CDS (cocaine). He was lodged in the Warren County Jail in default of $5000.00 bail and an outstanding warrant out of Warren County.

On 3/2/2014 the WTPD arrested a female, age 33 of Oxford Twp NJ. The female was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Rt. 31 in Washington. During the stop it was learned that she had an outstanding warrant for $215.00. She was processed and released pending her court date.

On 3/2/2014 the WTPD arrested a female, age 54 of Washington NJ. The female was arrested for driving under the influence after she was stopped in Washington for a motor vehicle violation. She was charged with the following: driving under the influence of alcohol, refusing to submit to a breath test, fail to maintain lane, careless driving and not having her driver license with her. She was processed and released pending her court date.

On 3/3/2014 the WTPD arrested a male, age 20 of Washington NJ. The male was arrested after Patrol Officers spotted him on Belvidere Ave in Washington NJ. The male was known to have an outstanding warrant for $350.00 out of Phillipsburg NJ. During the arrest he was found to be in possession of marijuana under 50 grams and CDS paraphernalia. He was processed and released pending his court date.

On 3/4/2014 the WTPD arrested a female, age 24 of Washington NJ. The female was arrested for an outstanding warrant for $280.00 out of Washington NJ. She was processed and released pending her court date.

On 3/5/2014 the WTPD arrested a male, age 41 of Washington NJ. The male was arrested for a $280.00 outstanding warrant in Washington NJ. He was processed and released pending his court date.
