Snowmobile crash with one injured

Sheriff Joseph M Underwood Jr is reporting that his officers investigated a snowmobile crash near M 40 Hwy and Hoffman St on private property in Newburg Twp on 3/9/14 at 12:04 am. A snowmobile driven by Daniel Castellanos overturned as he was driving on the side of a hill resulting in minor injuries. Castellanos was treated at the scene by Newburg Ambulance and then transported to Three Rivers ER Hospital for his injuries. Officers on scene stated that a helmet was used and alcohol was not a factor. The Newburg Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
