Beware of Arrest Warrant Scam: An unknown person claiming to be a Santa Fe County Sheriff's Warrant Agent is calling individuals that may have an outstanding warrant and advising them to purchase a prepaid gift card. This person is then advising them to provide them with the card information and in exchange they will clear the warrant. Emergency dispatch has advised that they have been receiving calls from the public and reporting this information. The public is asked to continue to call in to non-emergency dispatch to report any calls of this nature. If you are are recipient of one of these calls DO NOT do as they are instructing.
