They give up family time, weekends and holidays; work graveyard shifts and make critical decisions during life and death situations. As a Sheriff’s Radio Trainee, you will respond to 9-1-1 emergency and non-emergency calls and be responsible for dispatching deputies in the field. This requires a candidate who can assess a situation accurately, make quick decisions, and use good judgment to ensure the safety of patrol deputies.
