Coroner rules bones found in Columbia River are archaelogical

On Wednesday, March 5, 2014 the Grant County Coroner's Office
responded to a call of human bones found on the banks of the Columbia River near Crescent Bar. After the day-long investigation, it has been determined by Grant County Coroner, Craig Morrison, that the remains are non-forensic and are of archaeological nature. As per Washington state law, the remains were released to the Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation.
