Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the stabbing death of a man that occurred at 12:50AM, Monday March 3, 2014, on the 4600 block of East Alondra Boulevard, Compton.

Detectives learned that deputies from Compton Station responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call at the location. When they arrived they located the victim with a stab wound to his upper torso.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Preliminary investigation revealed the victim and the male suspect engaged in a verbal altercation inside an establishment which became physical. Both the victim and suspect ultimately left the location. The victim was later found in the parking lot area of the establishment with a stab wound to his upper torso.

It is unknown, at this time, the relationship, if any, the victim and suspect had prior to this incident.

The suspect is described as a male-Hispanic between 30-40 years-old.
