Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man that occurred at 2:59 AM, Saturday, March 1, 2014, in the 2700 block of East 220th Street, Carson.

Detectives have learned that deputies from Carson Station responded to the area regarding a call of "Shots Fired." They found the victim in front of the location suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

The shooting appears to be gang related. There was a party being held at the location, with rival gangs in attendance.

There is no further information at this time.
