The Newark Police Department has reopened Mayhews Landing Road between Haley Street and Colbert Street.
Newark Police Detectives are continuing their investigation into the assault of a female. The female remains at a local trauma center and is currently being treated for her injuries.
We are not releasing any further information regarding the incident due to the on going investigation at this time, but updates will be provided as we are able to release the information.
