Snow storm predicted. 8 inches possible. Remove all vehicles from Borough Roads tonight.
A significant winter storm will affect the region early next week. Event timing for
the most significant precipitation will be from Sunday night into Monday daytime.
Significant amounts of snow, sleet and freezing rain are possible with this storm.
• 8+ inches of snow are expected where the heaviest snow band sets up. There
will be significant amounts of sleet (ice pellets) just to the south of the heavy
snow band. There is also the potential for up to one-tenth inch (0.10”) of icing
due to freezing rain, again to the south of the heavy snow band.
• Event timing will likely impact both the Monday morning and Monday evening
commute. More details as we get closer in time.
• Wind gusts up to 40 mph are possible near the Atlantic coast late Sunday night
through Monday.
• Minor tidal flooding is possible, given the new moon on Saturday. High tides to
watch are the ones on Monday.
• Please monitor our website for the latest available information:

• Another briefing package will be issued by 500 PM Saturday.
