Haubstadt man arrested for operating a vehicle while never receiving an operator's license.
On February 28, 2014, at 11:48 p.m. Deputy Jarrod Brown observed a Blue 1989 Ford Pick up traveling through the Princeton McDonalds Restaurant parking lot at an unreasonably high rate of speed. Deputy Jarrod Brown initiated a traffic stop in the McDonalds parking lot and during a brief investigation it was discovered that the driver Joey Devan Hallbeck II age 19 of Haubstadt was operating a motor vehicle while never having received an operator’s license. Mr. Hallbeck was transported to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Operator Never Licensed, a Class C Misdemeanor. Mr. Hallbeck remains in custody on a $900 bond.
