WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY SUNDAY INTO MONDAY 10 -12 inches of snow. Vehicles need to be moved off streets

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY - SUNDAY EVENING INTO MONDAY; 10 to 12 inches of snow is anticipated. Vehicles need to be moved off streets.

The North Brunswick Police Department is advising residents of the approaching winter storm. The latest forecast calls for snow to start impacting North Brunswick Sunday evening and last for a majority of the day on Monday. Total snow accumulations are expected to be between 10 to 12 inches. Hazardous road conditions are anticipated for the Monday morning commute.
In anticipation of the storm, residents need to remove their vehicles from Township streets. There is no parking on Township streets during the snow storm. The cold temperatures are expected to last throughout next week. Additional updates will be provided throughout the weekend.
In order to properly and efficiently remove snow from township roadways, all residents are encouraged to move their vehicles off "all" township streets. Below is a list of "Snow Emergency Streets". It is "mandatory" to move vehicles from these streets during a snow emergency.

Residents are also reminded that they are required to remove snow from sidewalks and walkways within 24 hours after a snowfall.

Please be safe, and thank you for your anticipated cooperation.
