If you call 911 from your cell phone, it may get directed to a bordering county’s 911 Center. This is because your cell phone is routed to the nearest tower, which may be in another county. Always verify that you have the Rutherford County 911 Center when using your cell phone.
We will also have posters printed up for you to hang in public places within your office so citizens are also aware of this issue.
