Detectives need information concerning break-ins in Clear Creek Road area; cash reward offered

A cash reward is available to anyone who can provide pertinent information about two residential break-ins that occurred last week.
Tommy Johnson, of Old Clear Creek Road in Marion, reported that someone broke into his house between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20 and stole more than $700 worth of items, including a TV, a microwave oven and a taxidermist-stuffed bobcat. The person also caused $1,000 in damage to a door. Detective Billie Brown of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office is investigating this case.
Gary Scott Weaver, of Clear Creek Road in Marion, reported that someone entered his residence between 7:20 a.m. and noon on Feb. 20 and removed six guns, a laptop computer and an iPad with a total value of $2,750. Detective Andy Manis is investigating this case.
The suspects are possibly driving a white or light green truck. Witnesses have said the perpetrators are both white males and one has facial hair.
