Weather Advisory: First Day of Storm Passes....Two More Days To Go! Reminder.....Please Drive Safely and Plan Ahead! 
As fierce storms expect to reach the Los Angeles area this evening and into the weekend, please plan ahead and drive safely.
The Beverly Hills Public Works Department has sandbags available to residents affected by the storm, if needed, by calling ahead. The City can provide sandbags to residents (10 per household) with proof of City residency; valid ID or a utility bill matching ID.
During normal working hours, residents can contact customer service at (310) 285-2467. After hours, residents may contact Dispatch at (310) 550-4951 for access to sandbags. They can be picked up at 342 Foothill Rd.
It is especially important to turn off your sprinklers at this time to avoid even more ground saturation.
