Weather Advisory: Firece Strom Approaching the Los Angeles Area. Plan Ahead and Drive Safely.

A fierece storm is expected to reach the Los Angeles area this evening and last into the weekend. Please plan ahead and drive safely.

The Beverly Hills Public Works Department has sandbags available to residents, if needed, for the storm, by calling ahead.The City can provide sandbags to residents (10 per household) with proof of City residency; valid ID or a utility bill matching ID.

During normal working hours, residents can contact customer service at (310) 285-2467. After hours, residents may contact Dispatch at (310) 285-2496 for access to sandbags. They can be picked up at 342 Foothill Rd.
