McDowell County sheriff’s deputies are looking for 33-year-old Nelson William Last Jr., whose last known address was 46 Mae Drive in Nebo.
Capt. Shanon Smith charged Last with failure to change his address, which is a felony sex offender registry violation.
Last is also wanted on the following Marion Police Department warrants: two counts each of possession of a counterfeit instrument, currency or check; obtaining property by false pretense; forgery of instrument; and conspiracy to obtain property by false pretense.
As a registered sex offender, Last is required to notify the Sheriff’s Office in person of any address change within three days of the move.
Last is no longer living at 46 Mae Drive, and his whereabouts are unknown.
He was convicted in November 2002 in Rowan County of two counts of taking indecent liberties with a minor.
