US-127 closed North & South between M-46 and Mt. Pleasant. 40 car pile up near Shepherd. Severe whiteout conditions. 
Due to a 40 car pile up on US127 at Shepherd, US-127 is closed down in both directions at Shepherd. Northbound US-127 is closed at M-46. South Bound US-127 is closed at Mt. Pleasant. Multiple accidents are being reported on US-127 south of Ithaca.
Severe whiteout conditions are being reported in areas where open fields are on either or both sides of the road.
Use extreme caution if you must drive anywhere!!!!
We do not have a timeframe as to how long US-127 will be closed.
