Board of Water Supply (BWS) crews have completed repairs to a broken service line and reopened the roadway at 2176 Kamehameha Highway about 9 p.m. tonight.
Initially, the waterline break was thought to be on the 6-inch main nearby, but the break was actually on the waterline that serves the customer. Crews were able to complete the repair quickly.
The BWS thanks area residents and motorists for their patience and understanding as its crews worked as quickly as possible to repair the waterline and restore the roadway.
