Summary:
In the last several weeks, the Petaluma Police Department has received numerous complaints regarding solicitors operating in Petaluma without a permit. Many of the residents who have called report aggressive, hostile, and suspicious behavior. In the last few weeks, the Department has received more than 27 calls for service for this illegal behavior. Between 3pm and 8pm today, officers responded to six more complaints all on the west side of Petaluma. Officers located the above listed suspects. All four subjects were arrested and released on citations to appear for a violation of the Petaluma Municipal Code for soliciting without a permit from the City. Arlexus Gaines had a $30,000 warrant from Pasadena, California. Pasadena requested we issue a citation to Gaines with a new court date. After she was booked she was also released on a citation to appear.

They claim to be a job and business training program. Calls to the company went unanswered. They represent themselves to be selling magazines. It is unknown if they are a legitimate business or a scam.
